Why is BMS free?
The core app is built for small, single-counter businesses. It is free to install and use, without a trial timer or per-invoice fee. The soft guideline of monthly revenue under PKR 5 lakh exists to keep the free tier fair for the shops it is meant for — it is not enforced and there is nothing to verify.
What if my revenue is above PKR 5 lakh a month?
BMS still works, and you are not blocked. The guideline is a request, not a paywall. If your business has outgrown a single counter, the planned Enterprise edition is the better fit — and you can talk to us about a pilot.
Do I have to pay for updates?
No. Updates to the core app are included. New optional services, such as Cloud Backup, will be priced separately and announced before anything is charged.
Is anything charged today?
No. Cloud Backup and Enterprise are in development. Nothing on this page can be purchased yet, and there is no card on file. The Android app is free to download now.
What happens if I never buy an upgrade?
Nothing. Sales, inventory, customer credit, purchases, routes and reports keep working on the device. Cloud Backup and Enterprise are additions for people who need off-device copies or multi-user operations.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. You can export a 12-sheet Excel workbook, create an encrypted .bmsbackup file, and move the whole business to another BMS installation. There is no lock-in.
